If I want to replay the fight at the end of the wheel at maximum difficulty, I can, easily. It feels like you saved a really good idea for a single climactic battle which is normally what this game avoids, like the plague. And that's fine if there are, but if there aren't, that feels like.wasted potential to me. There might be cards similar to this in the future, time attacks against multiple waves of enemies to reach the final, fourth wave and finish the slaughter. I rather liked the final battle against the clock in Fiores' quest, but if I ever want to do it again, I need to reload the whole game. Second thought: The arcs are cool, but I wish there was a way to reliably to re-reach the climax. Either way, it feels like the challenges that favor doing such quests are.too early? Is that the proper phrasing? The payoff doesn't feel like it's particularly thought evoking to REACH, I suppose I should say. I'm pretty sure this wasn't intended, as it's REALLY easy to rig to favor the companion quests just by having alot of food and easy blessings, but perhaps I'm mistaken and you intended it this way.

this is, in and of itself, fine, but if you, like me, just slowly naturally completed one, then saw the final reward and so wanted to complete the other three, it encourages you to avoid pushing forward in the game while doing the companion quests and do a few challenges where it's pretty much a sure thing, such as the High Priestess for the easy abundance of food and blessings, making the 'companion' the new challenge as opposed to the actual objective. Most companion quests have some pretty hefty fees attached to them.

So, first thought on the questions / thoughts list: Early companion quests are expensive. I do have a few questions / thoughts though. Apologies if this all has been said before, I merely enjoyed this enough I felt I had to throw in my 3 cents.įirst off, praise to the devs for the overall design of the companion quests, I actually liked the concept immensely and wish it had shown up a bit more commonly in the regular quests that there were long questlines with heavy rewards at the end. I've completed all of them, I have platinum cards for every single companion, and I have a few thoughts towards this.
